From Genoa's History to Orto dei Rolli
A Legacy of Hospitality
In the 16th century, the Genoese aristocracy created a unique hospitality system. Through official decrees, owners of the most magnificent palaces were obliged to register their homes in special registers, called "Rolli degli alloggiamenti pubblici".
The noble family of Moneglia was among the main protagonists.
The name of our agriturismo, Orto dei Rolli, was born to celebrate this historical link between the territory of Moneglia and the excellence of Genoese hospitality.
